Originally from Washington DC, Meredith grew up primarily overseas as the daughter of two US Foreign Service officers. After finally landing in the US, she went to the University of Chicago, where she studied History (AB 06), and made a lot of theater in her free time. Meredith spent 5 years in New York before going to Yale, first at the MoMA in the department of Public Programming, then as a freelance designer and props master. She came to Yale ready to have her world broken open, and has not been disappointed. Her credits include Hamlet (Yale Rep), Cymbeline, Titus Andronicus (Yale School of Drama), Cowboy Mouth, Brainsongs, Underneath the Lintel (Yale Cabaret), and The Animals (National Headquarters Films). In New York, she worked with the Public Theater, Classic Stage Company, Elevator Repair Service Theater, Second Stage Theater, and Target Margin Theater, among others.
