Born to a family of rural artists in Ohio she grew up building forts and painting pictures. After Ohio, she devoted her studies to the liberal arts with a focus in painting and set design. Spending time in Strasbourg France she actively absorbed the greater art world. At Yale she participated in a fellowship program, collaborating with Parapanda Theatre Lab in Tanzania. Recent credits include, Richard the 2nd: Yale School of Drama, The Princess Plays 1&2: a site-specific work, American Night the Ballad of Juan José: Yale Repertory Theatre. Speaking in the first person: The work I dream to do, and the work I am trying to create, and the work that I love, is work that asks me to take a risk. A painful process of trying to know myself better, an attempt to understand my own limits, and then ask myself to push beyond them.
